A few weeks ago, a couple members of my Fractional CFO team and I attended the Accountex Expo in Manchester - so you didn't have to!

It was largely for accounting firms (rather than Startup CFOs), however what we were keen to see was the current developments in the Finance Tech stack.

Thankfully, we did come across a couple of new things and I've included this in our recommendations below.  

We also have recently onboarded a new client, that we have only been working with for a couple of months and they have introduced us to an ERP that we had never heard of before.

Sufficient to say, when we were in Manchester we beelined for this ERP booth and learnt as much as we could from a very obliging sales manager giving us a long demo.  It was a very productive day.
